Review and Revise: Regularly review and revise the material you've studied. Focus on reinforcing key concepts and identifying areas where further clarification is needed.

Practice with Mock Tests: Take practice exams to simulate the real test environment and assess your readiness. Analyse your performance to identify strengths and weaknesses, and adjust your study plan accordingly.

Common CBAP Certification Mistakes: And How to Avoid Them

Underestimating the Exam: Don't underestimate the difficulty of the CBAP Certification exam. It's a comprehensive assessment that requires thorough preparation.

Ignoring the BABOK® Guide: The BABOK® Guide is the foundation of the CBAP Certification training. Make sure to study and understand its contents thoroughly.

Not Practising Enough: Practice exams are crucial for identifying knowledge gaps and getting comfortable with the exam format. Don't neglect them.

Relying on Memorization: The CBAP Certification exam tests your ability to apply knowledge, not just memorise facts. Focus on understanding the underlying concepts.

Poor Time Management: Manage your time effectively during the exam. Allocate sufficient time for each question and avoid getting stuck on any single item.

Your Badge and Certificate

Once you have successfully passed the exam, your name will appear within the Digital Badge Program & Certified Professional Directory unless you have opted out. You can access your certificate and badge directly from this page to download a copy or share on LinkedIn.

CBAP Certification Renewal: Maintaining Your Credential

CBAP Certification is valid for three years, and you must renew it every three years. To maintain your Certified Business Analysis Professional certification, you need to earn 60 Continuing Development Units (CDUs) within three years. CDUs can be obtained through formal academic education, professional development, self-directed learning, volunteer service, and more. Remember, you have to show proof of the 60 CDUs for certification renewal.

The renewal fee for CBAP certification varies depending on membership status with IIBA:
