The DevOps Foundation certification is valid for three years from the date of issue. 

To maintain your certification, you must meet the requirements of the Continuing Education Programme within this renewal period.

1. Complete the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme: To maintain your certification, you must earn 20 CPD points per year for three consecutive years.
2. Log CPD Points Through the PeopleCert Platform
   Easily maintain your certification by logging CPD points for everyday professional activities such as participating in projects or organising practice-led events.
3. Recertify with Learning Activities
   Instead of retaking the exam, you can recertify by completing eligible learning activities.

Certification Status Based on Date of Issue

1. Certifications obtained before 31 October 2021

• These certificates are no longer valid.

2. Certifications obtained between 1 November 2021 and 1 November 2023

• These certifications are current, but you may no longer be eligible to renew them via the PeopleCert Membership CPD Route.

3. Certifications obtained after 1 November 2023

• These certifications are current, and you can renew them via the PeopleCert Plus membership route.

Additional Options

• Take2 Option (For First Attempt Failures): If you didn’t pass your exam on the first attempt, you can take advantage of the Take2 option to retry the exam.
• Upgrade to the PeopleCert Plus plan: By upgrading to the PeopleCert Plus plan, you can access the CPD programme and renew your DevOps Foundation certification until 2027.
