CSPO Certification Steps

Product owners hold significant responsibility within agile teams, determining the following steps to enhance customer value. Upon completing the training, you will receive your CSPO certification; no examination is required to get this certification. Let’s dive deep into the step-by-step guide to better understand the process.

Step 1: Take admission to a reputed Registered Education Providers (REP):

Start by searching for online training. You should enroll with Scrum Alliance’s Registered Education Providers (REPs) like Simpliaxis.

Step 2: Understand the Agile Manifesto and Scrum Guide:

Unlike the first step, this one is not necessary. It is also not included in the CSPO certification process. However, if you refer to the Agile Manifesto and Scrum Guide, it will be highly beneficial for you because, unlike others, you will understand the whole concept faster.

Step 3: CST or Certified Scrum Trainer Recommendation:

Once you complete the course, your Certified Scrum Trainer or CST will update all your details on the Scrum Alliance website. You might wonder why! That's because Scrum Alliance is the governing body that issues your CSPO certificate.

Step 4: Wait for the official mail:

After updating your details on the Scrum Alliance official website, you must wait because you will receive an official mail from Scrum Alliance. It will ask you to log in to your Scrum Alliance account. After that, you will be able to accept your Scrum Alliance license.

Step 5: Accept the Scrum Alliance license agreement:

The next step in the CSPO certification process is to log in to your account and reset your password. You will receive the link to log in to your official email. After following this process, you will receive your license agreement.

Step 6: Download your certificate:

After accepting the license provided by Scrum Alliance, you will download your CSPO certificate and display it to reputable and valuable employers. But remember that this certificate will be valid for only two years. After that, you have to renew it.
